Audrey Hepburn was the granddaughter of a baron, the daughter of a nazi sympathizer, spent her teens doing ballet to secretly raise money for the dutch resistance against the nazis, and spent her post-film career as a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, winning the presidential medal of freedom for her efforts.

…and history remembers her as pretty.

My boyfriend came over to visit and found his $1k+ promise ring strewn on the floor.

He gave me this look like ಠ_ಠ then ಥ‿ಥ

I was sick and delusional and everything was uncomfortable and had no idea what was going on ok

I probably threw it off in the middle of the night O_O

i just ate some solid food when my stomach was not ready for it

noooooooooooo the pain begins again..

Was amazing ♥ 

I was horribly sick and was fighting a very bad fever (one of my friends thought I drank alcohol cause I was flushed) but I’m glad I still got to spend the day with a majority of the people I wanted to spend the day with.

I had dimsum in the morning with my family, and spontaneously went to SF. Which was a bad idea because I didn’t have the energy to be going out and about.

My boyfriend was a true trooper cause he was sick too and exausted from camping.  He did all the driving all weekend and the driving to SF with the horrible traffic coming home.  I was supposed to drive to Walnut Creek for my dinner with my friends but he ended up driving there too and tagging along (he originally wasn’t supposed to come) so I could finish my cards and because I wasn’t feeling well.

I really can’t express enough how much I love my friends and how much it meant to me that they came to celebrate with me (one of my friends drove straight from socal to make it to my birthday dinner).  

I was so spoiled by the gifts they showered me with (totally unexpected) and everything was greeen! My favorite color!! :]

The only thing that I was disappointed with was that I didn’t get to spend enough individual/personal time with my friends.. there were 20+ guests and we were separated so I couldn’t hang out/talk with all of them.

I also felt like I didn’t get to hangout with my siblings much.  Nor did I get to have cake with my parents like I planned cause I had a busy day.

Regardless, great day with great people!

I tried doing that — it was ugly and tacky looking :’[ thats actually what the yellow residue is from cause I started coloring in the borders to correct my mistake before I realized I could probably erase the permanent marker.
